Dr. Lorie Givins is a dynamic and powerful teacher and preacher of the Gospel and a faithful Woman of God. She was saved at the early age of 11 under the leadership of Reverend Kirkpatrick at New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach and later became a member of Christ Second Baptist under the leadership of Pastor Michael J. Ealey. It wasn’t until she met and married her partner for life, Bishop Reginald Givins, Sr. that she began to answer the call upon her life. Together they founded the Word of Truth Community Worship Center located in the City of Long Beach, CA, and most recently Faith Builders Christian Center in the Inland Empire.

Lorie began her journey of higher biblical education under the tutelage of Professor Dr. Larry J. Lloyd at International Seminary. She holds her Bachelor of Biblical Studies, Master of Divinity, and Doctorate of Ministry from Next Dimension University and is currently working on her Ph.D. She also holds a PHR a Nationally recognized Certification as Professional in Human Resources. Dr. Givins is a professor for Kingdom Empowerment Bible College and gives back her time to her alma mater Next Dimension University. Dr. Givins or Lady G, as she is affectionately called, serves as the Executive Pastor for Word of Truth, Co-Pastor for Faith Builders, the State Supervisor of the California Jurisdiction, and International Chairlady for the Churches of God in Christ United organization.

Lady G is the CEO of Doc U Pro, LLC and founder and CEO of GWB Ministries "Godly Women Bonding" a women's ministry dedicated to encouraging women of all walks of life to find their purpose in God, minister to other women; share their desires, their challenges, and their journeys as women come together and bond, nurture, and network with one another. Lorie has been a Human Resources Executive for over 20 years and has worked for Long Beach Fire Department, Long Beach City College, and MemorialCare Health Systems where she retired in January of 2020 with over 42 years of secular service.

Lady G co-authored her first book “Women we are Stronger Together” and is currently working on her own book “Wisdom for Women in Ministry- From Rejected to Accepted”. Her greatest desire is to teach the truth of God's Word, to see souls saved, and lives changed, by teaching and equipping men and women to advance the Kingdom of God. Her favorite saying is “If it’s God’s Will, it’s God’s Bill.
